UPIAV has created a permanent training program, relevant to the new millenium, which includes all social levels that are found within the organization.
This complete capacity-building training program is aimed at developing capacity at the level of its members, management and its workers, and is offered in each one of the districts in order to develop leadership in each community. In building capacity, UPIAV relies on management informed by modern methodologies in accordance with development and globalization realities. Because of this, the organization focuses on educational projects such as scholarships for member's children in collaboration with institutions that develop capacity in different social, technical, productive or artisanal disciplines. 
A lot of emphasis is placed on capacity building at higher management levels so that this knowledge is also passed on to its base members. In a similar way, the organization supports and stimulates the creation of training institutions with themes relating to unions, cooperatives, as well as organizational and productive issues. Technical and productive training is also part of the program so that members can increase the efficiency and quality of their production. At the same time, social aspects relating to ethics, morals and value strengthening are also developed. |
