UPIAV is seeking to develop a strategy that will permit its consolodation. This will contribute to raising the level of production and will bring improvements to the county. In order to achieve this, UPIAV is working on aspects such as: Financement - Production - Marketing - Health - and Education projects capable of offereing production and marketing advice to members. The development of different projects attempts to involve all members, giving them the means of developing capacity in order to raise production levels, and achieve good prices from producing a higher quality of product. In the same way, UPIAV gives all its support to the development of communal projects to obtain lands for those who do not possess them. UPIAV has been attempting to obtain economic resources from specialized groups in the agricultural sector so that easy-access and low interest financing can be obtained for their members' production. The management of these financing projects are oriented in such a way that they will permit the creation of sufficient funds to allow for economic solvency and self-financement. This position should be understood as research into new ways of promoting the regional economy and the economic development of UPIAV members, as well as a research into agro-industrial development.
